Whatever your lyrical preference, I believe that at some point in all of our lives, we receive a signal that there is something significant that lies within us that needs to be explored in order for us to embody this energy and feel truly alive in our life.
The signal is permission and a reminder to make sure you are living in way that makes you feel engaged, vulnerable, expanding, energized, and ultimately in touch with your authenticity.
This is a tall order I know…
But the alternative is to ignore the invitation to get to know the real you better and basically say that your one life is not worth deeply exploring.
Only by experiencing this motivation to question and look within can we benefit from the perspective of the first half of life.
From our experience perspective, we recognize that many of our decisions in the first half of life were a response to our childhood and societal programming.
I’m not saying they were bad decisions.
But this perspective of experience can be really powerful to honestly look at where you’ve come from, who you are today, and what authenticity may be missing, or certain values you have that may be underrepresented in your life.
